Our Function Room can accommodate up to 60 guests seated or 80 guests standing, making it ideal for both sit-down meals and cocktail-style events.

Restaurant Capacity & Booking Requirements

Our Restaurant is available for exclusive hire with a minimum spend of $15,000 during peak trading periods. It’s the perfect setting for large celebrations, corporate events, and private functions, offering a spacious and welcoming environment tailored to your needs.

*Some of these items may have a slight variation due to seasonal/dietary concerns. All sets can be upgraded to include dessert for an extra $10 a head.

  • What types of events do you host?
    We host a wide variety of events, including birthdays, corporate functions, weddings, and social gatherings. However, please note: Football breakups are not permitted under any circumstances, for any age group. Events such as 18th and 21st birthdays, and basketball breakups, are considered on a case-by-case basis, at the discretion of the venue owner. We are not a “raging party” venue and will not tolerate inappropriate or disorderly drunken behaviour.
  • What is the capacity of your event spaces? Is there a minimum spend involved?
    Our Function Room holds up to 60 guests seated and 80 standing. The minimum spend for a private function in the Function Room is $1,500. The Restaurant, including the outdoor patio, can cater for over 100 guests, with a $15,000 minimum spend required for exclusive use.
  • Do you have multiple spaces available for events?
    Yes! We offer both the Function/Golf Room and the Restaurant for private hire. Please note the Restaurant has a $15,000 minimum spend. The minimum spend for a private function in the Function Room is $1,500.
  • Do you offer indoor and outdoor event spaces?
    The outdoor patio can be booked, but please note it is not a private space. When the Function Room is booked, it is located next to the Driving Range smokers area, but there is no separate private outdoor space attached to it.
  • Do you offer catering services?
    Yes, we do! Please see our Function Menus, which include both a Semi-Set Menu and a Cocktail Menu. If you’d like to make any alterations, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to create a custom menu to suit your event.
  • Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
    Yes, we can make alterations and accommodate guests with dietary requirements. However, please note that we are not a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen, so while we take care, we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination.
  • Can we bring our own food or alcohol?
    You may bring your own celebration cake, but we are not licensed for BYO, so no outside alcohol is permitted.
  • Can we schedule a menu tasting?
    We do not offer formal tastings, but you are more than welcome to dine in our restaurant to try the food ahead of your event.
  • Is there bar service available?
    Yes, there is full bar service available, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. You also have the option to set a bar tab if required.
  • How far in advance do I need to book an event?
    We require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice for any function or event. This allows us to appropriately staff the function and ensure the kitchen is fully prepared.
  • How do I check if my preferred date is available?
    Simply call the venue on (03) 9436 1411 or send an email to bookings.plentyviews@gmail.com, and our team will check availability for you. Please note: The restaurant is closed on Mondays, so we do not take bookings for events or functions on Mondays.
  • Is a deposit required to secure a booking?
    Yes, we require a 20% deposit to secure your booking. This deposit is calculated based on your per-head food spend and is deducted from the total event cost. The remaining balance will be payable after the event or as per the agreed payment schedule.
  • Can we visit the venue before booking?
    Yes, of course! You're welcome to visit during our Driving Range operating hours: 10am – 9pm daily.
  • What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
    Cancellations must be made at least 1 week before the event to avoid charges related to food preparation and staffing. If you cancel or reschedule with more than 1 week's notice, your deposit will be refunded in full. We do allow rescheduling, but this also requires a minimum of 1 week's notice. Please note: The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation or rescheduling occurs within 7 days of the event.
  • Can I place a tentative hold on a date?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer tentative holds. Due to high demand for bookings, we recommend confirming your booking as soon as possible to secure your preferred date.
  • How long do we have access to the venue on the day of the event?
    Functions typically run for 4 hours, unless otherwise arranged with the venue owner.
  • Do you offer event planning or coordination services?
    No, at this time we do not offer event planning or coordination services.
  • Do you have decor packages or can we decorate the space ourselves?
    We do not offer decor packages, but you are welcome to decorate the space yourself if you're hosting a private function.
  • How early can we arrive to set up?
    For the Function Room, you may arrive up to 2 hours before the event to set up, subject to availability—this means setup is only possible if no other function is scheduled within that 2-hour window before your event. Please note: Setup must occur during Driving Range operating hours (10am–9pm daily). For Restaurant events, setup timing is at the discretion of the venue owner.
  • Do you provide audiovisual equipment or tech support?
    We have a large television at one end of the function room, plus two additional TVs in the middle of the space. All other AV equipment must be supplied by you, and no tech support is provided by the venue including HDMI cords.
  • Is there a curfew or noise restriction?
    Yes, the following curfews apply: Function Room (Golf Area): Events must end strictly by 9pm, unless otherwise organised with the venue owners. Restaurant: Events must end by 11pm on Friday to Sunday, and by 9pm on Tuesday to Thursday. Please note: The venue is located in a residential area, so we closely manage noise levels out of respect for our neighbours. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a family-friendly and community-conscious atmosphere.
  • Can I bring my own vendors (e.g., DJ, florist, photographer)?
    If you’ve booked a private function, you're welcome to decorate the space as you wish, up to 2 hours before the event. When it comes to entertainment: Acoustic sets are preferred over DJs due to noise restrictions. A decibel limit is in place to ensure a comfortable environment for all guests. Alternatively, you're welcome to provide a family-friendly Spotify playlist, which we can play through our in-house speakers. We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly venue, and if any music, entertainment, or vendor service is deemed inappropriate for our setting, we reserve the right to ask for it to be changed, turned off, or for the vendor to leave.
  • Can we host both a ceremony and reception in one location?
    Yes, we can accommodate both a ceremony and reception in the same location.
  • Do you provide staff for setup and cleanup?
    We will take care of table and cutlery arrangement. If you bring your own decorations, you’ll need to set them up, remove, and dispose of them yourself after the event.
  • Is your venue wheelchair accessible?
    Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible via the driveway for ease of access. We also have one accessible parking space located at the end of the driveway, if you turn right.
